9th FATE COURSE - 20^th – 22^nd April 2010

The 9th Fate course, hosted by Enerchi, will be held at the HOTEL FUERTE MIRAMAR SPA in the town of Marbella, which is on the southern coast of Spain known as the Costa del Sol. For convenience for all, the 10th Annual General Meeting of the Chue Foundation will be held at the same venue, the HOTEL FUERTE MIRAMAR SPA, Marbella on the 24^th – 25^th April 2010! All the information below is therefore the same for both events.

The hotel is situated on the sea front within the town.  Marbella, as an established tourist location, has many amenities within close proximity of the hotel along with beautiful scenery and a reputation for having the most days of sunshine a year within Europe.  The main airport for Marbella is Malaga Airport (AGP).

HOW TO GET THERE

The main airport for Marbella is Malaga International Airport (AGP).  Marbella is situated at 55 kilometres from the airport.   You will find most airlines fly into Malaga, from all over the world. Have a look at:

The various options to travel from the Malaga Airport to Marbella are:

By Bus:  This is the most recommended way.  There is a bus (BUS DIRECTO) directly from Malaga airport to Marbella Bus Station on the hour during the summer season and every 2 hours out of season.  The cost is  €4.   The duration of the journey is 45 minutes via the motorway.   You can find the updated timetable on  http://www.ctsa-portillo.com/ima/pdf/aeropuerto.pdf.   

Once at Marbella bus station it is best to get a taxi to the venue, as it is a good half an hour walk from the bus station to the sea front.   A taxi can cost no more than 8 Euros. 

There are local buses that go from the Marbella Bus Station to Marbella town centre.   Bus Linea number 6 will leave you the closest to the Hotel Miramar Spa at the bus stop located on Avenida Ricardo Soriano.   The cost for local buses (BUS URBANO) is approximately €1.

By Taxi:  There is great availability of taxis from the airport.  The price is according to the time of day.  The approximate price is €65 and €75 for the evening.  You may be asked if you wish to pay an extra €3.50 for toll charges to go via the motorway, as it is much quicker.

By Private Car hire:  Malaga has many hire car companies offering amazing deals on car hire.  Many flight companies also offer car rental at competitive prices.   

The drive from Malaga airport to Marbella is very straightforward.   You leave Malaga Airport and take the AP-7 road direction Algeciras.  You then have an option to take the motorway direction E-15/AP Algeciras or the national road N-340 to Algeciras.  We recommend the motorway (cost approximately for tolls: €3.50). It takes 45 minutes to reach Marbella.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

This years AGM will be held at the Hotel Fuerte Miramar Spa in Marbella.   The hotel is located on Marbella’s seafront.  

The hotel has given us an offer on 50 rooms at discount prices including buffet breakfast.  Please note that the price is per room. So, if you share it is divided by the number of people sharing.   There are only 15 triple rooms out of the 50.  The rooms are exclusive of VAT at 7%.  

To benefit from this offer you must book before 26^th of February 2010.  There are only 50 rooms at this price after that they will be quoted at regular season prices (to be advised by March 2010).  FIRST COME FIRST SERVED!

The Hotel require authorisation from you to charge 1 x nights stay as guarantee of reservation via credit card.

If you wish to cancel your reservation before the 26^th of February they will reimburse the total amount of the charge.

If you cancel your reservation between the 26/March/2010 and 09/April/2010 they will reimburse 50% of the charge

If you cancel after 10/April/2010 Hotels Fuertes will not return the reservation charge.
